Hyoyoung, member of the 10-member mixed group, Co.ed recently broke her ankle and went into surgery.
Hyoyoung fell down the stairs on the 14th after rehearsals late at night and broke her right ankle. Immediately, she received emergency treatment at a nearby hospital and will undergo surgery in the morning of the 15th and will have two more surgeries after this.
Hyoyoung is cast in the drama "Jungle Fish 2" as a rival to T-ara's Jiyeon, but since she will need at least eight weeks until she recovers completely, there have been troubles. The agency for Hyoyoung said, "Hyoyoung's injury is causing discussions for modifications in the schedule and script. Co.ed's activities will remain and we'll coordinate it differently until she recovers," they said.
